Creation Care

Life-Giving Conservation

For God’s sake, we will adopt practical ways of reducing our climate impact and living more humbly and gently on Earth as individuals, households, congregations, institutions, and dioceses.

Carbon Tracker

Thanks to the Diocese of California, our whole church has a new tool to support anyone who wants to make more life-giving choices about how we inhabit the earth. The Carbon Tracker is a web-based application that helps individuals, households, congregations, and even dioceses to measure your carbon footprint and take steps to shrink it to fit a sustainable life.

Use the Carbon Tracker

Good News Gardens

We believe that one thing that love could do right now is call a community of people with the ability to plant gardens of all sizes and kinds together – from small pots of herbs to hundreds of acres of corn – in order to share the love of Christ through word and action, food and labor.

Check the diocesan page of the Episcopal Asset Map to find churches in your area dedicated to conserving resources and living harmoniously with creation. First, go to your diocesan page. Then search for “creation care.” Then leverage those relationships for regional learning and collaboration. See this example from the Diocese of North Carolina:
